Residential Design Process:

Initial Client Interview: This entails a visit to your property to discuss your goals and it make an initial assessment of your property. You will get a questionnaire that will help me focus on your needs and the particular style you may want. I can give a very rough estimate of my fees at this time.

Site Visit: I will do a complete inventory and assessment of your property, including environmental conditions, slope, existing plant material, circulation, views, utility availability and soil conditions. Complete measurements of the property will be done at this time.

Analysis and Site Drawings: Your entire site will be entered onto an Autocad drawing and depending on your goals, a series of conceptual drawings will be done based on the site conditions and the style you want.

Review of Initial Drawings: We will meet to discuss the initial drawing(s). At this time, l we will make changes that may be needed and I will answer any questions you may have. Final selection of many detail items, including materials and plants will take place.

Final Plans: Large format drawings at scale will be done, which include a Master Plan and Plant List. Construction and grading plans will be provided as needed. A color copy of the plan will be provided to you and black and white copies for your contractor.

Revisions and Site Supervision: All revisions will be made as needed. On-going site supervision will be provided upon request.
